Silky Gazaar is crisp and structured, but softened and finished to feel more fluid and smooth.
Here’s how it usually behaves:
- Smooth, almost satin-like surface (no rough hand feel)
- Less stiff than traditional gazaar
- Quietly luminous
- Drapes cleanly
Gazaar is often used for:
- Modern bridal gowns
- Formal dresses with volume
- Structured skirts, bows, sleeves, or bodices
- Pieces that need presence without heaviness
Note: Regular gazaar can feel too crisp or “papery.”
Care Guide
- Recommended: Dry clean for best structure and finish.
- Spot clean: Use a soft cloth and mild soap; blot, don’t rub.
- Avoid: Wringing or twisting (can crease and distort).
- Iron/steam: Steam preferred. If ironing, use low heat with a press cloth on the reverse side.
- Storage: Hang with support (wide hanger) to keep shape, or store flat for structured pieces.

Care Guide
Cleaning
We highly recommend hand-washing: use cold water only, use a mild detergent, do not soak, gently press and do not wring or twist.
Drying
Do not tumble dry, lay flat or hang to air dry in a shaded area, avoid direct sunlight which may cause fading or fabric stress.
Pressing & Steaming
Steam whenever possible, if ironing is needed use a low heat setting, always place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric, avoid direct heat on seams, boning, or embellishments.
