Fabric Guide

Description

Silky Gazaar is crisp and structured, but softened and finished to feel more fluid and smooth.

Here’s how it usually behaves:

  • Smooth, almost satin-like surface (no rough hand feel)
  • Less stiff than traditional gazaar
  • Quietly luminous
  • Drapes cleanly

Gazaar is often used for:

  • Modern bridal gowns
  • Formal dresses with volume
  • Structured skirts, bows, sleeves, or bodices
  • Pieces that need presence without heaviness

Note: Regular gazaar can feel too crisp or “papery.”

Care Guide

  • Recommended: Dry clean for best structure and finish.
  • Spot clean: Use a soft cloth and mild soap; blot, don’t rub.
  • Avoid: Wringing or twisting (can crease and distort).
  • Iron/steam: Steam preferred. If ironing, use low heat with a press cloth on the reverse side.
  • Storage: Hang with support (wide hanger) to keep shape, or store flat for structured pieces.
